ANGLE FLY PRESERVE UPDATE & THE REYNOLDS HOUSE REBUILD: THEN AND NOW
WHEN: Sunday, January 19 at 2PM
WHERE: Somers Town House/Elephant Hotel Routes 100 and 202 Somers, NY
All are welcome!
In 2013, the Somers Land Trust embarked on a multi-year project and a trip into local history as we began the rebuild of the 18th Century Reynolds House. Named for Silas Reynolds, the house dates from the earliest days of Somers and stands as a silent witness to over two centuries of life and change in our town.
See what community volunteers discovered as they peeled away years of neglect and learn how the house is being transformed with the help of local individuals and businesses. Bob MacGregor, Operations Manager for the Somers Land Trust, will present a richly illustrated update on Angle Fly Preserve projects highlighting the Reynolds House.
Bring your questions about Angle Fly Preserve, the rebuild of the Reynolds House or any other Somers Land Trust projects and join a friendly bunch of your neighbors at the annual meeting of the Somers Land Trust, 2pm Sunday, January 19, at the Somers Town House.
