July 20: Volunteer Day at Angle Fly Preserve: Reynolds House interior demolotion & pond

Whether you enjoy knocking out plaster or prefer carrying trash to the dumpster, you can contribute to the restoration of the Revolutionary War era Reynolds House at Angle Fly Preserve. Hands-on contributions are every bit as important as financial ones for this project. Be among the first to see the interior of this house. Then imagine how satisfying it will be to point out the house you literally had a hand in restoring. The Reynolds House is located at the entrance to the Angle Fly Preserve, Primrose Street/Rt. 139 between Reis Park and Rt. 100 in Somers.

July 20 from 9am to 2pm. We will continue work on the Reynolds House demolition with the hope of completing the interior demolition on that date. We will also continue with the work around the pond.

Where: Angle Fly Preserve
Date: Saturday July 20, 2013
Time: 9am-2pm

Minors must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or responsible adult to take part in volunteer day projects. Please refer to the safety practices section on our website. For more information, send email to David Gotz, Volunteer Coordinator.
