Many of you have asked for an up-to-date trail map and here it is! We’ve collected GPS traces for all open trails at Angle Fly Preserve and plotted them on a topological map. As the map on the right shows, our trail network now spans from Reis Park and over the Angle Fly Brook. Up next for our trail construction volunteers are the planned trails in the western third of the property.
More information about the trails including difficulty and lengths is available on our Hiking page. That same page has a link to a higher resolution map designed for especially for printing.
By the end of 2011, we expect that our volunteer-constructed trail network will reach a total of 10 miles of paths that explore the most scenic portions of Angle Fly Preserve and link Reis Park to Lasdon Arboretum. Do you want to lend a hand? Sign up as a Friend of Angle Fly and come out for one of our Volunteer Days.
We’ll see you out on the trails!
